June 23 Regular Meeting
Although Shannon Caldwell from The Common Thread in Dahlonega was not able to be with us, we really enjoyed watching the first episode in the Georgia Bonsteel set of Lap Quilting videos. Although Georgia's methods may be a little outdated, we can learn a lot from her about technique.
The slate of New Officers was presented: President - Ruth Skaggs, VP - Ann Humphries, Secretary - Nancy Murphy , and Valerie Canant will stay on as Treasurer. There were no nominations from the floor, and it was moved and seconded that the slate of officers be accepted as presented, and this was approved.
- BOM - Amish Diamond Block was won by Pat Yarber
- Door Prize was won by Teresa Smallwood
June 25 - There will be a baby shower for Teresa at Claire's house.
